Title for gay&lesbian youth group
 

Since I'm not the most creative mind around (I wouldn't even be out of three people) I need your help with this - at the moment a gay&lesbian youth group is being established at my hometown, but we need an attractive name to make young people join. The majority of the members will be homosexual although it's not a must. Thus it is not necessary for the title to teem with homosexual references, but an allusion or pun is totally ok, of course.

Objectives (to narrow it down a bit):

- Having fun
- Activities: sports, going out, making music, theatre group, etc.
- Helping young people with their coming-out
- Getting to know other homosexuals (hard task in a few rural areas)


Help would be very much appreciated. :)

The full title is nice, but the acronym makes me think of some kind of rape counseling group.

That's not the first impression I got from the acronym. Made me think of a bank first, actually. I think es geht.

The title has to be short. In this case we had to use the abbreviation which sounds more like an HIV prevention group. :D

I actually don't have any ideas :( , but I'm proud (and surprised) that GFF hasn't filled this thread with spam (yet).

Why does it need a name? Why not jsut "-insert region- Youth Group for Fags"?

Seriously catchy names will often just leave people confused as to the groups purpose and result in fewer people signing up.

OK, but if we call it "Illinois - Youth group for homosexuals and non-homosexuals"... Well, I don't think that'll attract anyone. At least no one able to read. ;)

How about the "Gay and Lesbian Alliance"? That's what our school's gay/lesbian/hetero youth group was called, and it attracted enough people to have an outstanding afterschool club.

Theres a club kind of like this at my school called the Gay Straight Alliance Club. Kind of similar to Seris's. I still dont know what that club does...

I like the SAFE one.

Maybe just put Gay/Lesbian Youth Group? Tell them straight up what it is. Not too creative but informative.

"God Hates Us Because We Don't Procreate" or GHUBWDP. Gehubwdup. Catchy.

How 'bout Fight Club or somethin simaler?

Why don't you leave your gay little faggot issues to yourself and not bring it on here? No one wants to here about your little homosexual oragies you are trying to start. I bet you hate getting made fun of for homosexual stuff but stop pulling yourselves out of society, grow some balls and go get laid like most other people do. If you like the weiner to weiner or Vagina to Vagina action fine, but don't bring it on here. As for a name, I reccomend calling it the Weiner2Weiner club.
