Sabrina, The Teenage Witch

Any comments regarding this show? I remember watching this show all the time when I was 7 or so. Almost 10 years later, I was attending a local trivia night. They were showing pictures of pets and you had to guess them. They showed Sabrina's cat and it was like deja vu. I miss it. All of my life, I have always had a liking to magic, even though it doesn't exist. That's why I liked the show. Is there anywhere I can download a show or so?
Thanks,
Joseph

What much is there to discuss about a show that's been off the air for years now? The show was good when it first came on, it started to suck towards the end of the high school years, and it really sucked after she started going to college (so much that I didn't even watch it anymore).

By the way, if you want to download the show, it would be better to put a request in here.

Ok, does anyone have some of the EARLIER shows? (the first one if possible)

oh, it was a link
oops

This seems to be a request thread more than anything. This was merely an average TGIF sitcom.

Clarissa Explains It All was better.

Much better. It also held up better over its entire run as opposed to Sabrina, which started to and eventually fell apart in its later years. They should have ended that show while it was still good, like with Clarissa.

Clarissa Explains it All...Never heard of it. It was probably good though (concerning it starred Melissa Joan Hart).
Did it have magic in it? That is why I liked Sabrina the Teenage Witch so much. I miss being young and all! Now, I'm 16 :(

Yes, it had Melissa, and no, it didn't have magic. It was just the best show she's ever been in. And it was on Nickelodeon to boot.

Wow, nickelodeon goes way back. I thought it was always this 21st century childrens network...

You're 16? That's still pretty young. And yeah, Nickelodeon goes waaay back. Classic Doug and Ah Real Monsters were awesome. Angry Beavers anyone? Oh and Rocko's Modern Life!!

Eleo Mar 19, 2006 07:14 PM

I think we've had Nickelodeon reminiscence threads in the past.

Early nineties... Good times, good times.

Jeez, I'm in the wrong age, I wish it were 20 years ago, and I just was born!
I was reading the outlines of the first season of Sabrina the Teenage Witch and so wish I was conscious! Man, I wish I could see one right now! Is there any place on the web that archives TV shows?

Clarissa Explains it All was good - but Pete and Pete was infinitely better.

Also Alyson Fanelli is hotter than Melissa Joan Hart

This isnt to say that Sabrina was a bad show per se - but her college years were pretty bad.

Are any of these shows going to be on DVD or are they currently available?

They may bring back memories.

Clarissa Explains It All Season 1 is on DVD but may not have further seasons put out because the first season didn't sell too well.

The Adventures Of Pete And Pete sold surprisingly well and the first 2 seasons are available but the third and final season was pulled from it's street date a month ago. Theres been no notice of when it will be released.

I used to watch this all the time. It's gotten pretty rubbish now without the Aunts though. I think they should have stopped making it when she went to college. They occasionaly show the old episodes with good ol' Salem moments in them though which is nice.

jsphweid Mar 22, 2006 07:23 PM

Is Salem in the college days?
