Hello e-fellows, what's up wit' it?

I just noticed that today is Friday the 13th. That means you probably shouldn't do things you usually do. Like getting out of your bed for instance. However, some people cannot stay in bed, they have to work, go to school or sell drugs in the park for a living.

This morning, I didn't know that it was Friday the 13th, but had I known, I think I wouldn't have stand up. At least I think so. I don't know whether I would call my self supersticious or not.

So what about you? Any special feelings you have today? What do you think about Friday 13th in general? Maybe the world will end today?! Questions over questions.

One Friday the 13th last year me and a few friends watched all of the Friday The 13th movies in chronological order. By the time you get to the fifth or sixth you can pretty much call exactly what's going to happen at any given time, being really formulaic and all.

Anyhow, all that superstition business is a bunch of malarky.

Ah shit. I just realized tomorrow is Friday the 13th.

I have work tomorrow. I hope I don't fuck up so much.

Oh, and my friend is flying in too. Hmmm.

I should probably try to remember to wear clothing. That will smooth the day out, I think.

Damn. I have a really important job interview this afternoon. I didn't even realize that it was Friday the 13th when I scheduled it.

...Then again, I've never been all that superstitious about things like that anyway.

seriously, nothing bad has happened to me (or people I know) on Fri13th. I'm not even superstitious about things like that.

I'm taking today (13th) off for business-type purposes. Sounds so gosh-darn fancy don't it? Wull, I found out last night that my freakin' awesome laptop shipped A WEEK AHEAD OF TIME. But it has to be signed for on arrival. To deal with that, I mailed it to my grandpa who is always home -- he doesn't mind at all. It shipped last night, but given that it went out around 5:30pm on FedEx, it might not even get here until Monday or possibly Tuesday. I was REALLY hoping once I got the e-mail that it'd get here Saturday (tomorrow) and I could break it in.

But as it stands, it'll be taunting me from 100 miles away, throughout this work week >:Y Freaking computer...

Also, this laptop is stronger than most desktops. It'll be my "precious" whenever I'm offshore. I've been looking forward to getting this sort of laptop for ages (this particular model? About four months).

But yeah. I'll handle passport shit today at the post office. I hope to god there's not something like a holiday I don't know about and the office is closed...

Its raining right now. I'm going on a canoe trip today. Gonna be great. Hopefully I don't drown. :inbeforeskillssaysihopeyoudo: Right now I'm waiting for the rain to die down so that I can actually get to work. Which might not happen if it starts to rain any harder. If I do make it to work, hopefully I don't cut my arm off with the saw or something.

Quite a few people are getting pretty paranoid about Friday the 13th around here. A couple of restaurants were closed today for "reasons unknown".

Also, one of my coworkers managed to spill coffee and chili on himself today. However, I have yet to experience any sort of bad luck on my end, and my day's been pretty normal so far. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm busy getting blackmailed by my cat.

well that sucks. i had a lot of work i needed to do today so I was gonna do the exact opposite and move around getting a lot of stuff done. I got up this morning at 5 AM, made breakfast, did some yard work in the garden till about 9:30 AM and after that I came in and I sat on my bed for 5 minutes to read.


It's 2:40 in the afternoon and I only just now woke up. I didnt even get anything read. I DON'T REMEMBER FALLING ASLEEP. WTF happened, man? :(

Oh ya, so today I just realized that the skyscraper skips the 13th floor. And I was in elevator #13. Coincidence?!

I was born on a Friday the 13th, and I officially started dating my boyfriend on a Friday the 13th, so it's been great luck for me. But to be honest, I don't believe in superstition at all.

Friday the 13th is my lucky day, that was the day I was born on. Aug 13th 1982 was a Friday the 13th.

I don't think I've ever been scheduled to work on a Friday the 13th, now that I think about it..

I don't believe in superstitions too much but my mom really does. She refuses to go outside at all on Friday the 13ths.

I'm not superstitious about Friday the 13th. The 13 doesn't bother me at all since my father, my boyfriend and my ex have birthdays on the 13th. I fail to see why friday should matter so much, and I'm a very superstitious person. I had a good night tonight, and have done previous nights on this date and day.

I think it's funny that people are saying Friday the 13th is a great day for them because they were born on that day. From another perspective, and for the same reason, it may have sucked for the rest of the world.

Just sayin'.

I've had two birthdays on Friday the 13th already. I remember that those days went quite well for me.

Otherwise, nothing unusual happened for me today.

My brother got hit with a surprise $95 fee from the Verizon installation guy today, but nothing bad has happened to me yet. Well, unless you count a mild headache as bad luck.

I'm superstitious about some things, but the number 13 isn't one of them. In fact, I think my Friday the 13ths have always ended up pretty good.

So my dad didn't get through the day unscathed. He had been recovering from a torn Achilles for over the last 3 months, and he tore it again tonight. ;_;
