GFF profile picture album

An album with all available profile pictures. I think we used to have something like that. Can we get it again?

Fluffykitten McGrundlepuss Jul 4, 2007 05:23 AM

Seconded. I used to like that feature. I don't mind volunteering to strip out all the profile pics that aren't of the actual poster, as was done before.

I third this.

I'm fourthing this and volunteering to sift through uploaded and waiting profile pics if we ever get back to the system that only allows real photos in the profile.

Lord Styphon Jul 4, 2007 08:40 AM

The last time we had it, approving profile pictures required administrator permissions. If a new version lets moderators take care of it, I'd have no problem passing the responsibility off to you.

God damn that was a drag.

I'll take a look.

That sounds pretty interesting!

I've never experienced it myself - also: What exactly it this so-called "Profile Picture Album"?

A feature which displays all the 'now-used' profile pictures of every single member and/or a profile picture history (in addition to the avatar history in the GFwiki) ?

But is it really that lovely? What's the benefit? Fun?

Well, okay - more or less seconded - even if I'm just a drossy little member ~

It was a gallery page that displayed everyone's profile picture, sorted by postcount (Or possibly member number, I forget). There was a stipulation that people could only use pictures of themselves in their profile though.

I remember that... I never got to upload my picture...

That would be cool to bring it back.

Krelian Jul 4, 2007 06:50 PM

This sounds pretty cool. I'm [n]ing this.

Sounds like a mini more organized PYP thread.
I hope my current profile pic is cleared if this happens.

Kind of like MySpace. :P

Hellllo 16-year-old titties.

I had to deny so many Sephiroth userpics back in the day. ;__;

Hmm, I must've totally missed out on this when it happened for one reason or another. Sounds like fun and generally well received though... Why not?

It was postcount. Sure of it.

[n]thing this too. I loved browsing the album when I was bored.

After I finish moving I will search for a hack that allows this.
