Trying to figure out a movie.

Instead of making a new thread, I'm going to recycle this one. Posts #2 and 3 were for my previous movie.

Here's the "new" one I don't know the name of. I'll give as much clues as I can remember.

Year: Early 90's.
Language: English/American movie.
Summary: Aliens land in a little boy's backyard and hide underground. The boy sees it happen and tells his parents but they don't believe him. The aliens then start to take control of humans by implanting something into the back of their necks. Eventually the military gets involved and battle the aliens underground in the boy's backyard. The aliens look like... uh... I think they looked like balls with sharp teeth, two legs, and a laser gun mounted on which required copper to power up.

You may have seen a different version, but it's probably this: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091276/ 1986 remake of "Invaders from Mars."

Yeah, that's the one, speculative.
Woa, it's from the mid 80's? I didn't think it was that old and I had no clue it was a remake. I guess I'll see if I can find the original. Thanks a bunch.
