Sorting PMs by sender
 

Could we get some kind filter that would let us sort PMs by their author, as opposed to sorting them by date? In general, when I'm looking for a PM that I've saved for reference, I remember who sent it, but not exactly when it was sent. A button or two that would let us switch between date and sender sorting would be great.

Seconding this, but with an interface suggestion. Put the sender in a separate column, and add clickable column labels for Subject, Date, and Sender. While the default view is still by date descending, clicking on the labels will allow you to sort using that label.

That's exactly what I was aiming for, actually, I just couldn't think of the proper way to phrase it. :p

No love on this issue I guess. :(

O GOD, yes, please. This would be such a help when you're trying to find that ONE PM with the address or directions in it, or possibly a group of PMs from a certain person.

No, actually I like it a lot but only subscribed to it instead of responding hoping it would take off with more discussion before I piped in.

Everything in due time, I was holding this off because I wanted to get the forum software updated first.
