More Arcade Games?
 

I was wondering if there could be any more games added since all the other ones have been beaten the crap out of and looking at everyones high scores they look like they've been here for a long time. So I was wondering if anymore can be added?

I'll make my suggestions if there's an OK to it.

Adding more wouldn't hurt, since Miles will do it!

We could always wipe the high scores in the mean time, that might add a spark of interest to the arcade.

Aw man and I just beat the crap out of Arkanoid. Oh well can always do it again, but since I got the ok i'll post some of the games. Lets see there's:

Bloody Pingu Throw
Nanaca Crash
Stick Avalanche
Squares 2
Dolphin Dash
Falldown

and thats it. Yeah I know alot isnt it but it might help out.

It's okay, the perfect game is already there (Castle Cat 4, of course).

Bump. I've noticed in the high scores list of Arkanoid (shh, don't look at my terrible score) that some of us really don't like that version of Breakout. It's fairly glitchy and unnecessarily difficult. Smashing, from Miniclip.com is a much cleaner, sharper version, but I don't know if they allow putting their games on other sites. I think I've seen them in other places, though.

Anyway, just bumping up the thread with a little suggestion. :)

EDIT: Also, I've noticed that every once in a while I get this error when finishing a game.

"This score was not submitted from the game. Your score will not be saved."

It's random, and not just for one specific game.

That tends to happen when you replay a game using your browser's back/forward buttons, instead of actually re-clicking the link.

As for Arkanoid Flash needing to disappear, I completely agree. Some other games could use a removal as well.

I think that usually happens when you're playing for a while, enough to get you auto-logged due to inactivity. This has happened to me a couple of times, like losing my score of 53 at Simon just now. ;_;

Any workarounds?

I think there's a setting somewhere in the boards where the session-timeout time can be set. Maybe an admin could set it that if your last query is in the arcade you get a 30-60 minute timeout time instead of the normal (I think) 15 minutes.
