(CBS 5) BERKELEY A Berkeley watchdog organization that tracks military spending said it uncovered a strange U.S. military proposal to create a hormone bomb that could purportedly turn enemy soldiers into homosexuals and make them more interested in sex than fighting.

Pentagon officials on Friday confirmed to CBS 5 that military leaders had considered, and then subsequently rejected, building the so-called "Gay Bomb."...

Thats fine, except for the fact that it makes absolutely no sense. A soldier wouldn't drop his gun on the battle field and go "Hmmm...well thats a bit strange... Now I am gay. I must drop my weapons and have sex and risk getting shot to death because I am gay and will fuck anything that moves."

If bullets are wizzing by your head, I doubt that a soldier, gay or straight, would be inclined to ignore this and proceed to have unstoppable sex.

I totally saw this on Conan last night. It's apparently true...

I cannot for a minute believe this would ever work. Sex and survival are two primal instincts hard-wired into the human brain but of the two I would think self-preservation would take priority over propagation. Especially considering it's supposed to make them temporarily gay, meaning there's no continuation of the species.
