Which search engine do you use the most
Personally, I use google. It's the easiest, simplest, and most user-friendly. All the other pages just seem to have far too much clutter on them.
No, I don't need to read the news while searching for pictures of a nuclear bomb explosion. |
There are other search engines besides google?? http://i.somethingawful.com/forumsys...ons/emot-j.gif
post scriptum: try to search for "man with huge cock" loll |
I'm with you. Google for the win. Type it in, and click search. It can't get any simpler than that.

Google for me. It always has been and it always will be. <3 Such a simple and accessible interface.
Oh, and I lol'd at the picture, too. That's a pretty captivating cock, there. It even needs a leash! (Kinky, huh?) |
Google for me.
years ago there was one I used all the time called gohip.com, it would use yahoo, altavista and lycos at the same time. |
Google, simply because it was the first one I found and usually it's quite good. I use dogpile and alta-vista for music searches though.
Another for Google here. It has been, and will be the only search engine that I will ever use.
Google for me, as well, although I have tried using Clusty, a locally developed meta-seatch, from time to time. Still, I always end up going back to Google. It's just so conveniently simple it's hard to pass up.

In many cases, I just search Wiki via keyword. It's not wikiseek, but it's close. In those cases where I need an image, don't know exactly what I'm searching for, or know that Wiki won't have what I need, I turn to Google, my primary search engine.
Google. I don't consider things like Wiki or IMDB to be search engines, but maybe they are. BTJunkie...?
Google almost all of the time, dogpile the rest. I don't like some of the new things google are trying (or tried) though, such as that stupid change to the image search reults page where the domain, size and filetype etc are hidden until you hover over the image. That's plain stupid.
Google has a stranglehold on my search engine side. Sometimes I forget there are even alternatives.
Google. It's nice, simple and I don't need to know thing like the weather, just who died in some random state or stuff like that.
Google for most things, baidu.com for the rare occasion I need to look for Chinese language stuff.
Google all the time. :p
I have never needed anything else. |
Google, because it's clearly awesome. (I also use gmail. O_o) I used to use askjeeves in elementary school. I always thought it was cool to put my search in in the form of a question.
I used to use Yahoo!, but circumstances have forced me to make the swtich to Google. Let's face it, the search engine wars are over. Google has won and will soon own not only the Internet but us as well.
I intake a lot of news from international newspapers and radio, so, while AP blurbs aren't anywhere near the quality of "The Economist" or "Yomiuri Shimbun," it's nice to have breaking news available on Yahoo. I do like the results, too, and I have special bile for Google.
Google, but BEFORE google, way back in the mysts of 1997, Lycos.
This is the silliest thread in existance. you should ask 'what do you drink most?" and have a poll listing water, turpentine, sulfuric acid, bile, quicksilver, and fudge. |
Google. I rarely use Yahoo. I think back in 99/00 I used AOL Search, but wasn't that powered by Google?
Google, naturally. If its something that I know can't be found on google then I turn to more "specific" search engines.
Yahoo, primarily out of habit. I'm not entirely comfortable endorsing Google on any level, even though I've got the cookie anonymizer. I do turn to Google for image searches, though, since Yahoo doesn't seem to have anything comparable.
Google, default search engine on firefox, and it's quicker than the rest.
