Because this is the next best online game I've discovered for PS2 since FFXI, I feel the online portion of the Subsistence collection deserves its own thread. Post your username, Rank, notable accomplishments (kill counts, headshots, etc), any useful info you discover, etc.

I also hope we can arrange some GFF-exclusive matches later on. Post what kind of matchups you'd like, along with the rules, and maybe I'll personally try and host it (someone with large bandwith would be better though).

Basicly, we should really make a close network in the Friends utility, and here is where we'll all be able to find everyone's information!

There we are, getting up to two members so far...

I got my PS2 Network Adaptor in the mail yesterday and i'm picking up Subsistence tomorrow, mainly for the online component which i'm hoping will be tons of fun.

I'll update this post with my info once I have the game and i'm online.

It's both. Also, I'm pretty surprised how very few members own the Network Adaptor. Granted, there weren't that many PS2 games that supported it, but I figured FFXI, SOCOM 1-3, and Madden alone would be enough for some people.

I'll look forward to MP once I'm done the solo campaign (as said before, I've never played Snake Eater before.)

I've been playing MGSO for a couple of days now and it's alot of fun. I like the team matches the most myself, because if you get a good batch of teammates you can do alot of cool strategy.

I dunno, I think it's fine to post any comments and discussion in this thread. It makes it easier to find info on the game.

I'm having trouble finding a game that isn't full of lag. Too many times I've been unfairly killed by characters zooming in and out of the field. I'm shooting a guy in first person from a mile away, and he's instantly in front of me. Do I blame my connection? His connection? The host's? Or are there actually cheaters out there? Is it because I join a cramped server (Snake)? Or does Konami need to start releasing patches?

My name is Freddy Krueger, I have been playing quite a bit and only ran into 2 games with lag. I always choose a server with low ping. Anyway this game is addicting and tons of fun!

And where can you find out if the server is capable or not? What numbers are good, and which ones can lead to lag?

Its the color next to the sever name, green is the highest, yellow is medium and red is bad.

I myself also play in the lobby second from the top. Mostly because the people seem to be better players there and it's not as crowded.

I've been playing a few deathmatches; still haven't gotten the drift of the other modes so far. It's definitely worth picking up the network adapter for (I got mine for 9.99 preowned from eb).

I <3 some MGO right now. I usually play on the Snake server under the name WolfDemon, same as my GFF name. I don't really have a best time, since I never know when I'm supposed to get out of work now. They pretty much just tell me when I can go. But if we get a time set up, I'll try to be on then.

Nice I got my network adapter today. Hopefully will see you guys online sometime. I'll see if I can register with the name Spatula, so you'll guys recognize me, hopefully.

Hey, you know if we ever want to play, we should choose a universal server to play in. More preferably a server that usually has 0-10 people in it tops.

Also online is kind of like heroine, but in a good way.

I usually play in the Snake server mainly because theres like 500 people on it any minute, so quick joins are fun.

we should all meet up in the EVA server just to add each other to our buddy lists, then we could be awsome and meet up in SNAKE!

By the way, I'm a FOX now, haha!
