Chocosig problem (?)

Earlier today I tried to upload my current to signature image using the Chocosig option. It seems that it is still using the gamingforce.com instead of .org link. When I changed the link to org in the signature edit box, it displayed the Blazing Saddle sig I had on the SB forums before the merge.

Any inklings on when this will be fixed?

It would probably be quicker and easier for you to just sign up for a photobucket account. The whole sign up process takes no more than a couple of minutes and you can store tons of sigs on a single account.

I already have a photobucket account, which is how I have my current sig up now. Just figured it would be nice to let it be known (if it wasn't already) that the feature was broken.

I bet the problem you had was caused by the old bug that bobo never fixed: it would sometimes return the wrong file extension. So if you just did a straight copy and just changed the com to org, you could have still been pointing at the last GIF you uploaded, when you really wanted to look at a JPG.

I had tested ChocoSig after the conversion and it was working after fixing that and the com->org thing.

ooooh I see what your saying now. Ok lemme do a quick check on it.

Yep, it was still being listed as .jpg instead of .gif. Heh, the simplest solution! :tpg:

Is there anyway the code can be fixed to direct the link to .org instead of .com?

I'm sure it can be.
