DOA Dead or Alive
 

I searched and really didn't come up with a thread, however one could always be made as I'm typing this one up.

DoA High-Res trailer (needs to be renamed from .dll to mov)

1080HD trailer (same thing goes)

Based on the game, off course, It's almost set up like a Mortal Kombat meets espionage-type movie. This trailer seems to be just a tad bit better than the one that was surfaced, what was it 2 years ago? Anyways, it comes out this Summer.

It's about top fighters that get invited (?) into a tournament (hosted by Eric Roberts' character) and they find out they're being studied and their strengths are being put into some kind of super soldier army.

well I have to say that it look better than I thought, not that it will be the movie of the years but it still look like a good action movie.

And indeed it look a lot like mortal kombat (minus thee super power)

I might go see it just for a good action movie nothing more


edit: just did some research and apparently the movie is out on dvd since last september every but in NA... I guess now I'll download it for free just in case I'm going to be really disappointed XD

It never even came OUT to the theaters, because it was utter crap. I can tell that just from the trailers last year. >_<

The whole movie is an excuse for softcore porn.

well i just finish watching it and I have to say that it's a good action movie, but that's all XD

I don't know enough about the DOA story to say if it was true to the game. (I doubt it XD)

but still it was quite entertaining will all those fights. They were pretty cool ^^

if you want a movie full of action I guess you are serve with this, but if you want a good movie base on a video game I guess you need to pass XD

So wait, was it released on DVD first then put in the theatres? I haven't seen it for sale anywhere. :|

I bought this on DVD for like $7 last year. About $6.50 too much. They successfully captured the feeling of the movie being made in the late 80's with a budget consisting of about thirty cents and a wad of chewing gum. Some of the fights are pretty alright though (they even use the 'READY GOOO' announcer from the game), and I dunno, there's one in the rain. TITZZZ.

apparently the movie was release in theater and now on dvd almost every in the world beside NA. and they are releasing in it theater only this summer in the US ...
