John Rambo
Ok guys, first official trailer of the upcoming (and last) Rambo movie is up and it's....... OOOOH ! :o_O:
http://www.cinema-france.com/Webmast...2004_1_big.jpg Synopsis: The next chapter in the Rambo series finds John Rambo living a withdrawn and quiet life as an ex-patriot on the riverbanks of Northern Thailand. Recruited by a group of Christian missionaries attempting to deliver humanitarian aid to the persecuted Karen people of Burma, Rambo reluctantly agrees to deliver the missionaries across the Thai border into Burma. After the missionaries fall under attack and are taken prisoner by Burmese soliders, Rambo must lead a group of mercenaries into Burma to save the prisoners from certain death. Construction drawings, site plans and site models were developed and coordinated with an art team based in Thailand for an extensive build of key locations for the film, including a Burmese Army Compound, Karen Village, and John Rambo's boat. The set designs and site plans were developed according to research, visual references, and the demands of the film's action sequences http://www.stallonezone.com/pow/051307pow.jpg And the trailer : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rx6i090FGzQ (Not for kids by the way). |
God damn! That looks like it might actually be a great movie. I never thought I'd say this, but go Rambo!
Hulk...smash? The rumours were that he was going to be less involved in the action; obviously THAT was completely wrong. And he had his longbow! Classic.
That's way too violent to be an official trailer. Awesome though...
Well, at least it doesn't look any worse than the others. It might actually turn out to be a half decent action film.
Holy fuck. I MUST see this movie.
Machete decapitation + .50 cal at point blank = delicious. Rocky Balboa was awesome. John Rambo doesn't look like it's deviating from that either :-D |
Did... did that guy explode after Rambo shot him with an arrow?
Nice to see them honoring the spirit of the last two movies like that. |
Ha. I think he supposedly landed on a land mine or something. Even if he didn't, the man would explode simply from being in Rambo's presence.
So Sly Stallone has decided to revisit all of his old franchises, huh? I think I can see where this is going:
2008 - "Marion Cobretti" 2009 - "Gabe Walker" 2010 - "John Spartan" 2011 - "Ray Quick" 2012 - "Joseph Dredd" |
Nope, he just wants to end with panache the two franchises that made him famous. I didn't like Rocky Balboa (but mostly because I wasn't fan of this saga), but Rambo ? Aaaah That's something else. Looks like all the anger contained in the last Rocky movie is unleashed in this trailer.
I mean, he looks really pissed.:p |

Rambo is my hero. He shot down a helicopter with an arrow.
And then a waterfall exploded!
Ummm.... Wow... I haven't watched any of the other movies so I guess unlike Rocky, I have no idea about the purpose or background of Rambo.
Sly killing people. Watch only the first one.
That's about all you need to know :3 Basically a Vietnam Vet who can't settle down~ |
No, you GOTTA watch the second one too, just for the laugh factor. The third one isn't necessary.
HOLY GOD that was an awesome trailer.
Wow, that's way more violent than I'm used to from Hollywood films. I didn't notice an ETA - is there one?
This is going to be the best movie since Rocky Balboa. Man, I love Sly.
better quality and downable version of the trailer http://www.movie-list.com/trailers.php?id=rambo4
woot! |
Rename it? To what sort of extension? =d
.mov. heh sorry about that. :P I knew I forgot something. ._.
This will be another movie I'll definetely be seeing.
I really enjoyed watching Rocky Balboa. I try not to take movies too seriously and I enjoyed all the Rambo movies despite 2 & 3 being inferior films to the first, I enjoyed them regardless. You know I'm kind of noticing a trend here, not nescessarily with Sly but it seems like that movie franchises that orignated from back in 80's are back in style now. Look how well Live Free & Die Hard did and I absolutely loved that movie because I felt it encompases everything you want in your typical Bruce Willis action movie. I would like to see more actors go back to that formula and starting putting out sequels to their older franchises because it seems like thats what some movie goes would want to see. |
