hardware advaice needed (on a tight bidgit)
 

I want to do this for under 500. I have HDD's a dvd burner, a mobiter, a 600W PSU, a keyboard and mouse, and some speakers.

I want to be able to run any game out right now at decently (well decently at 1024x768)

I want to stay with amd (socket am2) since they are cheaper and good for pc games. It has to be better then 2ghz

Now for video cards I know and like geforece (well I don't know anything about ati's video cards) so i was thinking about a geforce 8500, but I don't know if that is a good buy. (or what would be anything better)

Other then that I want the mobo video card and ram to be from a good comp and not some cheap crap which will most likely die in less then a year.


So can I do this with less then $500? how about $400?

ps: i forgot to mention but I would like to get 1gb of ram, but 512mb will do.
