Problems with RPG MAKER XP

Ok my problem is when I pull up a picture for the game the pic has a white background how do I get rid of if to match my battle back ground?

I've never used XP, only 2003, though I think you have to tell the program which colour you want it to interpret as transparent. Then it'll look fine.

Don't mean to nitpick, but it would help if you actually included the verb in your sentence. If you are referring to transparency on tilesets, the colour you are looking for would be "magic pink". ~~I don't remember the Hex value off the top of my head, but if you google "magic pink" you should get something.~~
