I wanted to put my photos on somewhere other than deviantART because it's
easy to get lost in there if you aren't a celebrity or ridiculously skilled in
whatever.

Photography satisfies me in, both, creative and technical ways. There are so
many ways of composing and capturing a shot. Shooting isn't always about
catching that wonderful coincidence, but it's nice when it happens. And a
photographer's tool is his camera, not Photoshop. A photo can be a portrayal
of realism or it can be just the base of a creative piece, but not both. I like to
keep the two very separate.

My favorite genres of photography are street, glamour, people (babies and
women), nature, and animals. http://oasis.sky-render.com/forums/i...oshitalion.gif Photography is probably the only thing that
motivates me to improve upon myself and spend the extra time reading. I may
have spent more time reading photo mags than I have actually shooting. I've
only been shooting seriously for about a year now, but I dare say that
anything before I got my 50mm prime lens is mostly terrible and uneducated
shooting.

My niece, Jayden. I'm in love with this new Tamron lens already. <3

The pic of your niece looks like a high definition screenshot of a movie :D
My dad also uses a Canon. Forgot what model. For now he is obssesed in finding a 100mm Macro lens. Me, I just settle for a Canon IXUS....(stole it from my mom)
Also that black and white picture of a building is postcard material.
