St. Patrick's Day 2006
Another year where I'll be doing something other than drinking green beer (working 2-11). Despite having an Irish heritage, I'm pretty much as far from Irish as it gets. However, at this point in my life, believing in the luck o' the Irish and toting something green with me probably isn't going to hurt, because maybe I'll have some good luck come my way for once. I won't be wearing anything green (reason: I have no green clothes), but I've got a few green 20-sided dice that should suffice.
Do you believe in the luck of the Irish; that wearing green on St. Patrick's Day will bear you better fortune? Do you believe in luck at all or are you not superstitious in general? I've not believed in luck for a long time, because good luck never seems to come around. I'm thinking starting tomorrow I should start believing in luck (both good and bad) and maybe I'll get some good luck for once. |
No luck for me :(
I lost $40. I have work on St. Patrick's Day. I'm missing a pizza party in my econ lecture tomorrow. I have an assignment due tomorrow. I don't know if my students tomorrow wille as good they were yesterday. I hope the colour green will circumvent some of this unfortunacity. |
Nope. No luck in my book. Just optimism and coincidence.
