Torrent downloading issue
My issue isn't with the download speed of whatever it is I'm getting with a torrent but rather the download of the .torrent file itself. It seems that in both Firefox and IE, a torrent file will always download at 1kb/s or slower for me. Anyone possibly know why .torrent files are the only ones that download this slow for me. Is it possible for my isp to prevent me from downloading such files? Or am I just unlucky.

Well they are small anyway, does it really matter?

I just want to be sure, Ekon, does this happen from different websites that have torrents, or do you get them all from one single location?

Typically they don't emphasize the bandwidth use on those tiny files. I think waiting 10 seconds rather than 3 seconds is just fine.

From any torrent site it seems, piratebay, mininova etc. And it takes more than a few seconds, try 20 minutes for one torrent file.

I've had that trouble before downloading a torrent file. It was stuck at 35% and didn't seem to budge. I think the site was just busy.
