How To Convert Video's Into Good Quality .MP4/.3GP's?
Hey,
For the past week I've been trying to convert videos like .avi's, wma's, and stuff to the best Quality .MP4/.3GP's that are 177x144 pixels for my Samsung D500 Phone. I've found a couple of way's, but I'm not satisfied yet. I've tried using: Xilisoft X4 Live - It's pretty good, It makes fairly descent quality .Mp4's but some of the time the movies blurry. It's really good, but could be better. Converting the Origional Video file with WinAVI to a .avi 176x144 and converted that to a .Mp4 with WinAvi Mp4 converter. It makes the best quality I've seen, but It runs pretty slow and skips half the time. I found this guide: Quote:
I've also used to easy .Avi to .3GP converters but the quality is shocking or dont work for me, like Xilisoft, ImTOO etc. I need to be able to convert the video's to my Samsung D500 phone so the video has to be 177x144 pixels, otherwise I can't put it on my Phone. If anyone could help me get the best results for converting Video's to .Mp4/.3Gp's it would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks, ~Kwan |
try PSP Movie Creator or WinAVI MP4 Converter for MP4

Question, will PSP convertor work on my iPod video?

VLC Media Player has a transcoding option that does MP4. I've used it many times. I'll do a lame explanation with a few screenshots if you like.

With PSP Movie Creator, I cannot choose to convert the movie to the size of 177x144 pixels so, I wont be able to put it on my phone. If VLC Media Player can convert the movies to a 177x144 .MP4 file, that would be excellent. Thanks Again Peepz, ~Kwan |
Ah, to the best of my knowledge I think VLC will only keep the resolution it's encoding from. At least, I haven't seen any settings anywhere that make it do otherwise.
