MP3/USB Question (Deleting/Reading)
Okayz two different problems but I dun wanna have this section getting spammed by me so here goes
Problem #1 MP3 I just bought the following mp3 players => http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetai...712&catid=10205 And it's got a whole load of pre-installed crap music that I wanna delete... however when I go into the drive on my computer I only see the following options: http://img489.imageshack.us/img489/6369/untitledlf7.jpg Now Audible and Record are empty and config has 1 file - which I dun think is what I should delete.... so what now? How do I get rid of those songs The CD it came with has only 2 things 1) Help and 2) Media Converter (for pictures really) Any ideas? Problem #1 FIXED ******************************** Problem #2 USB Reading I got this USB =>http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pro...20&catid=10485 And being the retard I am, I had this USB on my old computer while it was reformatting - now I'm not sure if it asked for me to delete the partition or whatever happened. All I know is that when I insert the USB I have 2 options 1- Removable Disk L 2- U3 System And when I click on #1 I get Quote:
And when I go to #2 I get http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/1842/untitledfn7.jpg Now I tried to right-click on #1 and clicked on format I get http://img258.imageshack.us/img258/162/untitledpg9.jpg And as you can tell it doesn't read it and "Windows was unable to complete the format" The U3 System when I right-click has no "format option" so now what? The USB came with no CD whatsoever - what to do? Any ideas >.< Problem #2 FIXED THANKS GUYS! |
Hrm, that IS strange. Did you try to format Via DOS Prompt? Doubtful but MAYBE that will get it up and working...
|
How exactly would I do that without affecting the computer? *newbie here sry*
|
I think it went in the DOS prompt
Format XXX:\ Where XXX is your drive letter. Before you do that though, did you contact Sandisk to ask about their memstick? They might have better knowledge on it all... |
Start --> Run --> diskmgmt.msc

Zergrinch has got you in the right place, all you should need to do now is repartition the drive by right clicking on the white block that says "Unallocated".

OMG you guys are geniuses THANKS!!!!
