Global folder view style
I'm running Windows XP. I generally prefer my folder views to be in "details" format, but the default Windows view is "tiles." It gets really annoying to have to change the view for each folder every time I open it up.
Is there any way to configure Windows to have "details" as the default? |
Open a folder and set it's view to "Details." Then...
Tools -> Folder Options -> "View" tab -> "Apply to all folders" button. |
Thanks.
Wow. I feel like such a putz. How very characteristic of my avatar, no? |
