Hi! Does anyone know when Nintendo will release the OST of this game?

Why is it taking so long?

None of the japanese record labels have announced any plans to publish an OST for twilight princess so far, so there might not be one.

As you may or may not know, there was a seven track official soundtrack released exclusive to those who subscribed to Nintendo Power:

It's a meagre release so I'd recommend looking around for a full game rip instead. To my knowledge, there still isn't a complete and consistently tagged one available, though I might be wrong; a lot of rippers have been working on the massive soundtrack.

As much as I'd love to see a complete OST release for this game, it seems to be in the same boat as Paper Mario TTYD - everyone wanted a soundtrack to be published but it was never made.

I think a OST release for this game is fairly probable as Nintendo released the OST of the 2 previous Zeldas (Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker, I'm not sure if they released a OST for Majora's Mask)

I'd love to see an official OST for this game too!

Zelda soundtracks have a VERY sporadic history, just look at the number of different publishers for the cds. It's inconsistant enough that nothing is guaranteed.

While Scitron has been the most recent player, also putting out the Big Band Live and a Zelda 'The Music' compilation, they were bought out last year by Happinet Corp, so the shuffling of management there casts doubts on the possibility of Happinet publishing the next one.

Also with Paper Mario...yes there was an OST for that: The Paper Mario Story or something? I can give it to you if you need.

I see Japan had his own release with the typical elements: shorter tracks but with music effects (I simply hate these kind of OSTs. 59 tracks on CD one. wtf?). Click

Was anyone able to check the Nintendo website (the Japanese one) with regards to release info/rumors?

I wonder if this soundtrack will take awhile to release like the Metroid Prime/Fusion OST did.
