Firewall related problem.
 

I have a problem connected with Firewall (Sygate Personal Firewall Pro) which I recently downloaded. I used McAfee and it worked ok but recently my computer kept crashing so I downloaded another on to try it out. It seems that firewall was the issue since Sygate shows bunch of Jolt2 Attack DOS attacks which previous one didn't block. The only problem now is that after each attack my internet stops for about 60 or so seconds which is extremely annoying as this happens quite often. Anybody knows what to do? Or can somebody recommend any other firewall that is worth having?

I find that ZoneAlarm Firewall is a simple but effective firewall, and as an added bonus, it is free. It is the one that I have installed at the moment. I have tried others (Comodo, Sunbelt/Kerio) but I found that these weren't as good as ZoneAlarm. Either that, or they tried to other complicate things for me.
