How do I close my account?
 

Want to close my account, can I mod do this for me please?

What boards actually allow you to close an account? Like the only thing I really know of that lets you do it is LiveJournal and those kinds of things.

I assume most boards ban people then tell them their accounts are "closed".

Another thing you can do is change your password to something you won't remember, like "skjdhfkljasgfksgdf". I did that with all of my Poker accounts after I realized that I was getting addicted.

But Mush! What if you click on the "I forgot my password!" link and it poops out an email with it to your working email address?! What then?! How can this addiction stop! MADNESS!!! =O

Then you change your email address before you go. Seriously, though, why waste an opportunity to go out in a blaze of glory we can all laugh at?

Uhh then you have to change the password for your email account as well, I guess. I mean, if you're really willing to do it, you should be able to!

But then what if you have a "I forgot my password!" link for your email account?! And then for that email and so on! The Internet is a web WITH NO CLEAR EXIT SIGN! HOW DO WE PERSEVERE, MUUUUUUUUSHARRAF?!

Just throw your computer out of the window. Come on, you can do it.

But what about computers that don't belong to me!? Surely those are tapped onto the InterWEBEBEBEBEBEBEB. D=

A friend of mine is a systems admin for the internet, I'll get him to delete your account for you if you want.

You know, the easiest way to get off the internet is to beat the final boss. So far, no one's been able to successfully complete this mission.

Why would you want to close the account? It doesn't charge you money (or does it?)
