Some random paintings...

A friend of mine is a really talented painter, and he gave me the permission to release some of his really nice works here in GFF.
I find them great and I hope you do it as well.
If you want him to draw something, go ahead and request ;)

That one's called spleen. Don't ask me why :eagletear:

Uh, sorry if I may sound harsh, but those aren't paintings.
Unless you and your friend are 8 year olds, they arent what I'd call 'great.'
With more constant, correct practice and time though, it definitely will be.
Goodluck!

Why is that harsh? They aren't paintings, they're pencil sketches.

Paintings (OR NOT) they do have an odd edge to them. Spleen was pretty wacky to me in a good way. Lots of weird interpretation here.

Hm, I think it would be better if your friend could post on here himself, rather then having you representing him.

These sketches, especially 'Spleen', remind very much of what I used to draw in grade school, (especially during math class.) :) I kind of like the "sketchy" nature of the drawings, but I also realize that it may not be intentional.

I think the technical side of it is in need of much improvement, but as Roan mentions, improvement is always possible with right action and vigilance. Tell your friend to keep at it!

I just have one thing to say: Lose the graph paper.

Oh, and also, why doesn't your friend just register and post his own stuff?
