Decompressing A .ape File
So I got Monkey's Audio to extract this file
Whenever I open it up with Monkey's Audio thingy, it gives me this message: "Run time error 52. Bad filename or number" If I open up Monkey's Audio first and open it up within there to decompress, it just closes automatically. I'm dying to hear this soundtrack but Monkey's Audio is being stupid! |
Does the filename have all those fucked up characters in the filename? If so, try simply renaming it with regular ASCII characters.

Then write a bug report so the developers can fix it ;)

It's a general region setting problem, not a program one.

I have to disagree. All current Windows editions support unicode so this shouldn't be the problem.
Also 'region setting' is something that has to do with DVD-Video... |
