Blazing Angels (Wii)

Well this one has been on the release lists for a while with no sign of any progress but the first pics have finally surfaced. I've gotta say they actually did a good job of bringing the graphics over to the Wii. Looks like maybe devs. are finally putting forth an effort rather than bringing slop job ports.

I have not played the 360 or ps3 versions of this game but it did look fun from the videos so I am actually looking forward to some WW2 flight action on my Wii.

Hmm... I don't know, because I haven't seen other screenshots of the PS3 & Xbox 360 versions in action, but those look like they might be cutscenes rather than in-game footage. (I'm especially going off the motion blur on the third shot.)

It will be interesting to see how this game fairs against Heatseeker since they are the same type of game. The more Wii games the merrier, I say. :D

no, that is in game I have watched my friend play the PC version which is the same as the 360 and ps3 version. I can promise you that that shot is in-game. Here I will even provide you with a link to the 360 screens, the 360 one has the motion blur also, it also has a film grain effect that was left out of the wii version, or so it seems from those screens.

Ah, very cool then, thanks for the info. Those graphics are pretty good compared to the Wii offerings I have seen so far, in that case.

I think the real question is "Will the Wii controls make the game more exciting and fun to play?", since in all it's other iterations, it's just not that fun. (Heroes of the Pacific is more entertaining and it predates the earliest releases of BA by about 6 months).

Lookin' pretty sharp though. I hope the Wii control scheme works well with it.

well IGN said Heatseekers control scheme is nearly perfect so if Ubisoft can do as good a job mapping the controls in Blazing Angels it might actually be more fun than the other versions.
