Suggestion for subforum: GFF Hardware Reviews

I hope this is the correct forum in which to post this.

The other day I was looking at the massive quantity of PC peripherals I have acquired over the years and thought it might be cool for GFF to have a section for tech-heads to do mini- (or in-depth) reviews. It could be for microphones, mice, keyboards, speakers, video kit, audio kit, monitors, anything.

I know a lot of forums already exist (places like Neowin) for this, but I thought it might be neat to have one that caters to GFF's multimedia/VGM/gaming oriented community.

I'd be happy to help set it up if need be.

Thanks for hearing my crazy ideas.

EDIT: Duh. It probably goes without saying, but it would be a subforum of "Hardware and Networking Zone." As if you didn't already know that. I shall go stand in the corner now.

To be honest, I don't think there are that many people on the forum that would actually submit reviews to this. Being tech savvy, I couldn't be arsed to post a review due to sheer laziness. I'm sure there are at least 20 different reviews out on Google, anyways.

I could see that subforum having some potential. Maybe it will actually get me to post threads again too, even if they are just long-winded reviews and opinions. My only concern is the frequency of activity, like Render said. Even the Album Comments forum isn't as busy as it should be and look at our music listener population ._.

Though, I'm all for giving it a shot.

It's a pretty broad topic, I think. I think you could get a hefty amount of reviews off of NewEgg.com, to be honest. Lots of traffic and reviews for virtually every single product. Not really necessary here -- but that's just my opinion.

I would like a subforum for subforum suggestions.

You know, just saying.
