I know there's a Season 3 thread somewhere, but there are too many spoilers. Anyways, this is just to introduce to the many that have yet to watch this beautiful show. :tpg:

Wait... I'm confused... what is this about? a new series?

Sepharite Feb 25, 2007 10:12 PM

Nah, it's on it's third season - and has been renewed for a forth.

But I've only heard of it a few weeks ago, and I'm a pretty avid-TV guy. Besides, I think it's probably one of the best TV series out right now. Just wanted to spread the joy.

Locke Feb 25, 2007 10:36 PM

Ahh... Honestly - I'm dissapointed with the third season so far... I want more shit to blow up.

Sepharite Feb 25, 2007 10:38 PM

Oh, so you do watch it. And don't tell me.. I'm still on the second season =P

And oh yeah, there's a spin-off called Caprica. 50 years prior to the attack, I think.

Locke Feb 25, 2007 10:56 PM

Oh yeah? Never heard of that - when does it air?

All I have to say is Boomer = Win.

Seconded to sci-fi fans or not, this series shouldn't be overlooked. I've only watched up to the end of the 2nd season, and waiting until the 3rd is done to watch it in a couple of sittings rather than sitting for a week in anticipation after a cliffhanger.

I took a saason and a half hiatus from the show, then got into it again at the start of the thrid season. I can't help but feel disappointed that the plot development was very stop-start. Things go quickly for a few episodes, but then there are 4-5 that are more stand-alone with a few scenes establishing the state of the plot line until the mid-season/season finale. They are good episodes, but the pacing could be a bit better in my opinion.
