No more honeybees the end is near!

Ok a bit dramatic but if you like honey like I do the price is gonna go up. |
Who uses honey anyway.
|
The price of honey is already sky high.
|
Evidently, bees are dying from the Carbonate Compensation Depth =o WHAT ARE THEY DOING UNDERWATER
Oh wait~ |
I like honey on my bagels with cream-cheese. A rare treat since I rarely use honey for anything else aside from maybe on cornbread.
So whole colonies are just up and dying? This is a prime example of the dangers of living in close quarters. |
Ugh, and I've started eating more honey on bread recently...
|
Not to worry, Artificial Honey can't be far behind... =P
|
I never really liked honey, even when I was a kid. Sure, I'd have it occasionally but to me it's just a sticky mess with a weird texture...
Anyway, I am sorry to all honey buyers. *snicker* |
Honey is good but I could live without it. It's bizzare; so they have no idea why this SBD is happening?

At least its not ketchup, honey is one of my lesser used garnishes.
|
Man, I eat quite a bit of honey throughout the week on sandwiches and shakes... Then again my country doesn't have to worry about that sort of downage.
*Cradles his bananas* |
We're really stretching for things to discuss when the subject is potential honey shortages.
OHNO. WHAT WILL THEY PUT IN MY HONEY BUNCHES OF OATS NOW?!?!? |
I have around 2 gallons of honey leftover from a bbq from a year or two ago... I'm curious though about what could be hurting colonies though.

I like honey roasted peanuts. That is about it.
|
I like putting honey on the biscuits at Cracker Barrel. But, you know, they give out the honey for free. >_>
|
I haven't had honey in a while, now that I think about it. I like putting it on corn bread, and I like eating a little if I have a sore throat (BEST cure for sore throat).
|
Guys ever try peanut butter and honey sandwiches? yeah, fuck jelly once you try that.
|
Actually, yes, I've had peanut butter and honey sandwiches on occasion. That's some good stuff!
|
I like honey in warm water when I'm ill with a bit of whiskey. Apart from that i don't use it. My mum likes it on sarnies and my dad puts it on his porridge. So i'm not going to be affected by it much. Wonder why its happening.
|
From what I had read, it isn't just that honey may be a problem. It's that these bees are used to pollinate various sorts of fruit trees and the farmers are worried about their crops.
|
Honey is good on bread, in coffee, on cereal... honey is just good, as far as I'm concerned. Although it's not good to eat a lot of it. It's more natural than refined sugar, and as such more healthy if substituted in a measured way.
I hope there's no honey shortage coming to the UK. |
I never did eat honey, it's not that I don't like it, I never really paied any mind to using it in anything.
