Anyone know the name of this?
A while back I downloaded a graphic novel from Something Awful (back when they gave registered users access to that rockin "My Stuff"-esque forum). It was about a boy named Clark Kent.
ZOMG WHO?:
It was an excellent read... But I don't know what it's called; even though I'm thinking of buying it. Can anyone help me out here? |
Secret Identity, written by Kurt Busiek. It's a take on the original Superboy-Prime concept.

What's Superboy-Prime?

Secret Identity is a wicked read indeed and I love the artwork by Stuart Immonen. I love those moments when Clark is hovering above the Earth in space.
FYI Busiek is now working on the main "Superman" comics with Geoff Johns which looks like it'll be worth looking in to. :) Quote:

I think I liked it more when I thought it was an original concept :(

Yeap, Secret Identity is one of the best Superman mini-series that I've read. I'm not sure if it would be classified under Elseworlds, but it does match up to Superman: Red Son.
|
speaking of Red Son, what a brilliant piece of work that is. Elseworlds has the best alternate universe minis.
I really want to read Secret Identity. |
