Ripping DVD Movies
 

What software do you recommend in ripping DVD Movies to AVI. All I want is the movie, I can live without the subtitles and other language settings. As for quality, well high to decent quality would be good. :)

Try Magic DVD Ripper 4.3.2 , is great

I generally use RipItForMe..it basically compiles DvDecrypter, DvDShrink, and FixVTS into one program. Helps when you're out of Dual Layer media to have DvDShrink..but most of the time, I just go without it.

Anyhow, that program has yet to fail on me. Good luck!

HightopNinja. Have you tried to use that method to backup Babel?
I've tried, but it failed. It says that it could only find 2 out of 4 video files or something.

I use a combination of DVD Extractor and meGUI.

3 things:

1. dvd decrypter - to go from dvd to hd
2. dvd shrink - to ensure best quality possible and eliminating menus
3. anydvd - breaks encrpytion on dvds.
