Did the thread/post propping idea ever take off?
 

I remember hearing about this awhile back. It's basically an option to prop threads you enjoyed reading/etc. Same as journals except with threads.

There's something like this on another forum where you're able to "say thanks" by pressing a certain button, to let the thread creator or post user know someone liked their comment.

It isn't essential, but you know. Just curious.
