WiFi

How secure is WiFi? The only Internet access I have is through wireless. The provider I'm connected to is through my apartment's wireless. The only way to get access to it is by the landlord adding my MAC to the server. Should I be wary when I'm accessing bank account stuff?

Typically, online banking is handled through an HTTPS connection. This uses a symmetric key transmitted via asymettric encryption to secure the link. In other words, even if someone was sniffing all of your traffic out of the air, the HTTPS link would still be secure.
