Toei Spider Man featuring asian desperado

This one is good, I promise.

It was a mix of Ultraman, power rangers and. . . . . . .any early morning saturday kids show.
I had heard of this spider-man show but i never imagined it being so crappy. And how in the world did a student photographer afford a power ranger reject robot, I know he's a genius but he's not mcguyver.
Also, asian cowboys that look like they came from mexico......come on ^_^;
This is only funny when made fun of.

Xardion Mar 13, 2006 07:35 PM

HAHAHAHA this is the best thing ever! lol Megaspiderzord! Awesome web shooter sound effect.

Mojougwe Mar 13, 2006 09:12 PM

It's the original Japanese Power Rangers! This must be the source of all that is evil on American TV! EVIL! (But I kinda enjoyed watching this too.)

Megalith Mar 13, 2006 09:47 PM

Japanese people ruin everything.

Rockgamer Mar 13, 2006 10:13 PM

What the fuck was that? This shit should be banned from the internet, and the entire world. What a way to ruin Spider-Man.

Fjordor Mar 13, 2006 10:41 PM

That was the most hilarious japanese parody I have seen yet, barring Puni Puni Poemi. X-D

Rockgamer Mar 13, 2006 10:59 PM

I don't think that was meant to be a parody...

My opinion of the Japanese just lowered by 10 points.

Also, has anyone else wondered why the heck all these types of shows have battle scenes in what appear to be gravel-mining pits? And the same one at that.

I've noticed that, but never really thought of that. I guess most of the bad guys are considerate bad guys, or something. Also, don't forget the generic city background used for giant robot scenes seen in most of these shows.

Crash "Long-Winded Wrong Answer" Landon Mar 13, 2006 11:36 PM

This was the worst thing I've ever seen.

I think I am finally ready to watch "Spice World", as it cannot possibly be as bad as this Spider-dreck.

Spatula Mar 13, 2006 11:41 PM

And I sometimes wonder HOW Japan produces some top quality anime shows at the same time.

Megalith Mar 13, 2006 11:44 PM

What quality anime shows.

THE POWER OF WATER Mar 14, 2006 12:09 AM

Haha, that was awesome. Old Tokusatsu for the win. Totally got flashbacks to Kikaida from that.

That was quite real, by the way.

Some more if you scroll down. Gotta love the machinegun-wielding birdmen fighters.

Kikaida for the definite win. I still haven't collected all the DVDs. Been holding out for a boxed set.

Furby Mar 14, 2006 09:15 PM

Silly asians. . .They're funny.

Not everything, but I have to agree that this sucks. Totally ruins my respect for Spiderman.

It should be ruining your respect for the Japanese, not Spider-Man! He had nothing to do with his Japanization!

:tpg: Greatest thing I have seen in a LONG TIME.

People need to learn to laugh at stuff.
