ICS in windows

So, I was helping a buddy set up a shared connection for his dial-up at home.

The normal step is to right-click the connection you want to share, click the advanced tab and check "Allow other network users...."

The problem is that this option is not there at all!

Am I missing something?

Is there a possibility that dial-up cannot be shared? I mean, its not very fast in the first place and it goes through the phone line and maybe the computer can't split that among two computers? I would believe it would be really slow.

The steps are just different in setting it up. Here's a nice guide I found:

It looks like this except instead of "local area connection" it is whatever the name is of the dial-up.

And yes, dial-up can be shared amoungst as many computers as possible with the right setup :)
