Your first kiss?
 

So, when was the first time you kissed someone in a romantic fashion, for lack of a better term? If you haven't really made out with a person but have "pecked" or whatever that can count I suppose. Look, I'm a little off right now so you fuckers need to work with me.

I was thinking about this after reading a post in the breathless moments thread and realizing that two days (the sixteenth) from now will be my 10 year anniversary since my first kiss. I was fifteen. Had just met this girl Amanda earlier in the day and me and a buddy went to pick her and another girl up. Amanda and I were in the backseat and, even if she was cute, I hardly knew her. We started drinking Mickee's beer and after a while she just started trying to kiss me but I'd turn away. I'd never kissed a girl before and I wasn't sure I knew how to kiss that way. Finally I just gave in and kissed that broad and, surprisingly, it sorta came naturally. Altogether her and I were liplocked a good four hours that night. I remember the Keith Sweat song Twisted was on, and I remember being one block south of where the Landmark Casino was in Vegas.

After breaking up with my first girlfriend which lasted a month (and we didn't kiss), I made out with another girl on a Friday night in September 2002. We were together for 1 year and 10 months (Longest relationship so far). Yeah.... my first kiss was a pretty wild making out session. I was 18.

Sadly enough, all my kisses have been related to acting. Even the one where the chick pulled me down onto a couch so she could smooch me (we were backstage). I don't consider myself as having had a first romantic kiss yet (blame the psychotic ex-girlfriend for me not wanting to be close to anyone).

Thirteen. Towards the end of the summer some friends of my mother's had family staying (this is in the middle of rural France where nothing is going on and every summer is a case of never seeing anyone my own age, what fun), and they had a thirteen-year-old daughter. And wow. Over the course of the week it'd just be a case of meandering around together, but on the last night before she left to return to the US we were alone in an orchard and wound up sitting down together at the base of a tree. I was like "oh fuck what the fuck do I do I've fucked up so badly", but then she wound up kissing me and this went on for a long time.

She returned to New York, and we haven't seen each other since... However, we fell back into contact again last year.

I think I was about 12, and some chick in a fairy outfit gave me the pashing of a lifetime backstage at some theatre thing! I was dressed as a luminescent mushroom (don't ask), and distinctly remember having the most raging boner of my young life for about an hour afterwards.

Boy after reading a few of these, I was a late starter on the whole kissing part. Not saying I am upset for not having the opportunity until being 18. It was quite the wild one too. I guess that made up for all the years I missed.

I was in the eighth grade and it was Jimmy Forrester. We were at a school dance and we sort of "hooked up." Well, as much as 8th graders hooked up back in those days. I will never forget the lame line he worked me over with:

HIM: Have you ever kissed anyone before?
ME: No.
HIM: Would you like to come to Jimmy's kissing school?
ME: I guess.

I still remember every. single. detail. Down to the way I almost gagged at the feeling of someone else's tongue in my mouth. Still, I had the BIGGEST crush on him for years afterward.

So, you were disgusted by the tongue thing? I guess grade 8 is pretty young for doing something like that. Any reason why you had a crush on him for years afterwards?

Oh, I conquered the gag relex after the second or third kiss. It was just so...slimy. And to this day I have no idea why I was so hung up on this kid. He was small, immature, wore glasses and had this weird curly blonde hair. Although now he's a cardiologist and almost went to the Olympics as a swimmer a few years back, so I guess I shouldn't question my excellent taste in men!

Well, you could have just gotten lucky by having a crush on him, and not someone else at the time. ;) Just kidding. I guess the small, immature, glasses wearing people surprise a lot of people in the end. I was one of those people.... although I was short and fat....

Oh boy. This is a hard one to remember. I have been told that I my first kiss was when I was 7/8 years old. It was with a girl called Sarah or Hayley, and we kissed behind the old garages just down the street from where I live now. I know it happened but with it being some 15 years ago, my memory of the event is a little hazy.

I think I was about... 10? I was round my friends house just playing around normally when she just suddenly jumped on top of me and started kissing me :\ that went on for ages, then later on I kissed her older brother. Never occurred to me as odd at the time that he was 4 or 5 years older than me...

I got my first kiss when I was 16. It was with a co-worker at the grocery store I worked at. We were going out at the time and while we were hugging I made the first move.

Thankfully I never got denied of a kiss. I cant even imagine how awkward that is.

I was on german exchange while i was 16, and i had met a german girl there, who i developed a bit of a thing for in almost no time at all. Me, her, and two other friends went out bar hopping one friday night, and after we both had had a few beers, we were both feeling sort of playful. After a while she just leaned in and kissed me. I was a little shocked, with it being my first kiss that actually meant anything, and the fact that i had met this girl two days previous. I returned the favour, and for the rest of the night we were very close. I came to my senses, and broke up with her in a few days time. I would've liked to have stayed with her, but nothin' doin'. I was going home to Canada in just a few weeks, and more i stayed with her, the harder it would've been for both of us.

Before that it was all in plays and truth or dare games.

Did that girl end up becoming a lesbian, or was she just a 10-year-old who thought kissing was cool? Just wondering.

My first kiss was when I was 17. I was with my first girlfriend, we were cuddling on a bed in the dark, talking, and kept shifting closer and closer to each other, until our lips were practically touching while we talked. So finally I closed the rest of the distance. I was a really bad kisser, but she managed not to laugh at me. She even gave me some very helpful lessons.

You know, I have no idea. I'd love to find out, she was pretty cute as I remember. ^_^

Does kindergarten count? Haha I guess that is nothing because it wasn't serious just a peck on the lips. Anyways my first SERIOUS kiss was horrible. It was kind of embarrassing because we were leaving and I kissed him on his cheek, then he grabs me, says "Come here" and puts his tongue on my lips. I was like "What are you doing?". "French Kissing you". "But what if my breath stinks?". "I don't care". Then commence the nasty, sloppy tongue sucking kiss which was horrible. Ugh

BTW my first kiss was in Middle School.

Also, Lalala- yeah, the second girl I kissed basically tried to suffocate me with her tongue. It was scary and weird. I knew how to french kiss by then, and whatever she was doing was definitely not french kissing.

My first kiss was just when I was 15....dear god it was horrible, I remember her eating my face. I think I've managed to block the rest of that traumatic experience.
