Ah sweet!
question on this step: Quote:
Set 1: bleh Set 2: ??? It's blank Set 3: Company intro (example you know all those North American companies with their logo before a movie - dunno what company this one is though <.<) Set 4: Movie Set 5: Extra stuff in DVD (example, fact vs fiction, interviews and such) Now I DO want the extra on the DVD... so should I add both set 4 and 5 or just 4? |
Why not get a dvd player that can play region 2 dvd's? Because best buy sells one for only 60 dollars, its a Phillips
|
Well, I live in Canada and chances are it's NOT 60 and it may not even exist here...
Eitherway, any idea anyone? |
|
Tsunade, which one of those guides are you using? If you let me know that, I might be able to help you through this process. I had to do this with some DVDs I imported from Australia. (I live in the US.)

@Soluzar my pc is region free, it's my "TV-DVD" that's not
@Joe Wiewel, I'm using the one here: http://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=300144 Thanks ^^ |
Nero Premium has a recode option that can convert to NTSC from PAL and vice versa. I use it for all sort of British TV shows and it works great. PM me if you would like a copy of it.

PAL and NTSC and completely different video broadcasting standards, and your DVD player would have to have a built-in PAL-NTSC coverter in order to play it off the bat. Otherwise you have to convert it some other way. |
The Phillips I mentioned does have a built in PAL to NTSC converter , because I can play UK DVD's fine on my NTSC tv
