If I ruled the world...

If I ruled the world, you can bet on a few laws being thrown down-

1. No more fossil fuels. Time to find a better source of energy, people. We're killing the planet and killing ourselves with this shit. We can do better. It may take many many years, but the transition would be worth it.

2. No more religion. Sorry, religious folk, but religion is the cause of many wars in this world, and I've grown tired of it.

3. No more weapons of any kind. What good have they done? Get rid of them.

I'm sure I could think of more, but I'm quite tired, and more interested in hearing of what you guys would do if you sat on the Earth's throne.

Yeah, have fun with that one.

I agree with all of the above, but alas, we can't get rid of religion that easily. It'd be nice if we could though.

I'm also gonna throw in the fact that if countries are allowed to still exist, there will be one person (Prime Minister, of sorts) reporting to me, and all countries will be equal in my eyes. No more of this 'America is better' shit...

And there would definitely be some tax changes. I will accept no bribes, if you are rich, you will pay MORE than the middle class (imagine that!).

I think my world would actually be kinda boring... I cant think of anything exciting right now. But then, like Sprouts said, I'm tired. However, I would enjoy using my power to litter chests all around the world in hidden locations, so that when a person finds the chest, they may open it up and find that it contains some Dayquil (Elixer) or other goodies. Just to see who finds what. :)

Should probably keep your weapons to stop the rebellions that will undoubtedly arise. :boxing:

hahaha! No more Religion? whatever for? certainly you must realize that religions have never spurned conflict. Only people have ever started wars, and simply used religion as propaganda - a flag to rally under. Crusades? territory and phat loots. Spanish Inquistion? Get those pesky Moorish out of Southern Spain.

In fact, religion is a fine thing (if you're willing to look at the whole big picture). People like believing in something greater than themselves. As much as science and whatnot has taught us how the physical world works, there are still so many things we may never understand about ourselves and our existence. Belief in a being greater than ourselves gives hope and reassurance. Even the various Churches scattered across the lands help build and improve communities, regardless of creed.

Now I can understand your dislike of fanatics who, believing strongly that they have things all figured out, want to make the rest of the world join them. But the fact that they share a religion rarely has any relevance to their cause.

'sides, what'd the Buddhists ever do to you?

If I ruled the world, people who made stupid threads about things like what people would do if they ruled the world that nothing good can possibly come from would be executed in the manner of Edward II.
