The MMORPG attack for DS!

So basically they're putting a terrible, laggy MMO on a limited platform for adding content and it will most likely be sprinkled with lame touchscreen use and most likely the second screen as a map. Okay.

If they decide to instead make a single player game that drastically makes the game into something that's actually good and worthwhile I might stop blowing my pessimistic whistle.

Laggy? It never lagged on my computer.

Though I quit long ago, it was fun for what I've played.

I guess the server was really really full when I played it then. Besides why would you want to play a game where you grind snails all day with shitty hit detection?

Well, at least this game will get my cousins off my computer every time they come over...

As much as I hate Maple Story, I'm glad Nintendo is doing their best to secure games like this.

I can guarantee you it won't be a MMORPG. There will be a main single player quest, with the option of limited local/Wi-fi multiplayer.

If this doesn't have wifi it will fail. It'll become another Children of Mana, or Jump Super Stars.

Nobody wants to play a game that screams multiplayer, but doesn't have it. People will just stick with the original PC version if they're continuing to playing this shitfest. Now, I don't hate MapleStory, and I've tried it out before, I just didn't feel like it had any motivation to keep you playing.

Go along. Kill snails. Watch AzNFreckleZ4 walk past. Kill some more snails. Visit a couple of NPCs with explinations that are too fucking long you tl;dr that shit and move on. Yeah, real fun.
