Xbox Live at Uni =[
 

I'm currently at uni living in their halls of residence, and I'm connected to their internet connection through an ethernet port in my wall.

When I try to connect to Xbox Live my console passes all the tests up until it reaches the "Xbox Live" test, which it fails. Clicking more info gives no help, and I'm assuming that it's because my Uni is blocking the ports needed for Live.

Now, what I want to know is, is there ANY way I can connect to live with this set up? My uni won't open the ports so I wanna know if there's any way I can get my PC to forward the ports from my xbox so that the traffic passes through the HTTP port (Port 80) that is open on my connection.

Any help on this matter would be greatly appriciated, as I'm dying to play GoW online

I'd try asking the university network administrators first. Better you while your time away X-Boxing than Bittorrent their connection to heck :p
