I'm looking for a nice blogging page. Never tried out blogging before, but now I'm going away for about 12 months to a different country and would like to know what is so special about blogging from you ... and what are the advantages or differences to a diary except of that blogs are public. Can you give me any tips which page to try out and do you blog yourself? :psyduck:

Thaaank you :cow:

Why the hell do you even care what other people think about blogging? And who even asks about the advantages of a blog? A blog is ALL ABOUT YOU. No one is going to overly care about what you put in your blog unless it's great.

I would prefer getting some webspace and doing it yourself. You'll be happier in the long run because it's something you did vs. some MySpace site that is BS.

Alas, that is for people with enough time on their hands. Building a blog-like homepage from scratch might be a lot of fun, but very time consuming, especially if you're a beginner. I agree with you, though. One would probably be happier doing it all by oneself since it gets that much better. It's like cooking versus eating ready made dishes.

EDIT: An alternative would be to use a blog software like wordpress. I was actually recommended using this one quite some time ago by a friend. I might try it myself when I get a little more time on my hands.

Wait, how come GFF isn't accessible in Sri Lanka and Niger?

Long story short, we had in total five very troublesome members from those countries. Because of the rarity of having members from those countries and the fact that they both each only had one ISP we just banned them altogether to avoid dupes and irritations.

Besides, in the end, its not like we banned a country that mattered from posting.

I used to use livejournal.com quite a lot. Now, I rarely use it. It's seems to be alright though. And of course, as mentioned above, Gamingforce offers a journal service that works just fine too.
