THE PLATE
BAM, once in a lifetime the Plate Mixers come around and make magic possible. Today's magicalal propistion involves: THE PLATe.
Bam, anything you want, relegated to a sole dish in quantity, can be yours once a day for the rest of your life. A plate of filet mignon perhaps? Or maybe a perfectly seasoned ramen soup? bagels and stuff? Man, right now I'm craving buffalo fingers SO FUCKINGBAD WHY. |
Well, this would probably kill this thread, but if it's the last meal on Earth I'm going to be eating, I'd rather it be my mom's cooking. My boyfriend's mexican grandmother's house specialty also comes to mind.
|
Shit, I completely forgot about this thread. Two weeks and only one post!
Anyhow, its supposed to be that if given the choice of always having a particular dish to eat WHENEVER YOU WANT IT, AS MUCH AS YOU WANT IT what would it be? You can still eat anything else this world offers, but this particular dish will be delivered to you instantly and free of cost. Apparently my answer is Buffalo Fingers with ranch. |

Although my cholesterol would rocket through the roof, my mouth waters at the thought of having rare filet mignon with seasoned garlic potatoes every day...
My mom's cooking would be a close second as well, though I can't think of one dish that I would love everyday...maybe her seaweed soup <3 |
Bagels and schmear. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y166/mas9955/jew.gif

Unfortunately, there is no single dish I could stand having ad nauseum.
|
That's a rough question: there are lots of meals I could see enjoying often, and there are a few meals I could definitely eat many times in a row, which would be an added benefit.
I think my choice would be either a New York strip steak with mashed potatoes and peas, or my mom's London broil with the same. Mostly because most of the foods I like I can make (and can afford to make :p), but steak is both beyond me (no grill what) and my means (holy expensive ouch). |
I love so many dishes that I don't know what I am going to put on my plate. I would definitely put on my grandmother's meatballs. Those were soooo good. I would probably have some of my Mom's cooking, such as her mashed potatoes and wonderful beef roasts, maybe even some of her noddle mix stuff.
So many wonderful things. Mmmm.... I am soooo hungry right now.. |
fish so soft that a dull knife can slice it.
parrot fish, mahi-mahi, salmon etc. with white sauce, rosemary sauce, or mushroom sauce. |
A plate of Barbeque comes to mind. Barbeque with baked beans, potato salad, hash with rice, and of course banana pudding.
Im from the south, so this is naturally my weapon of choice. |
Mushy peas... It's my latest obsession, food-wise. I'll hate them by the end of the week.

I'm sorry, I'm a momma's girl when it comes to food. :p |
Carne Asada Fries.
The End. |
Hmm, some reconsidering. I love buffalo fingers, but I'd have to make an investment on this towards my health. I'd go with some skinless/boneless chicken breast, a baked potato, and a side of veggies. Everything (especially the chicken and potato) seasoned by a master of seasoning so it at least tastes good.
|
Probably some chicken adobo (specifically made by my mom, since my dad and her make two different kinds: dry or wet. I prefer the wet.) and some rice. You can't go wrong with rice. It's an Asian's best friend.
