[SOLVED] Journal feature request:view public only / view private only

Basically, what I think would be nice would be if I had a link, when viewing my own journal, that would allow me to view ONLY my entries that are public, and a second link that would allow me to view ONLY my entries that are private. It's just that if you have a hundred journal entries and five of them are private, and you want to see your private entries, it is kind of troublesome to go through all of your entries looking for them. The other way around, if 95% of your entries are private, it is a little easier, in that you can simply log out and then go view your journal, but if you have guests banned from viewing, then you have a problem.

As far as viewing other peoples' journals like this, I couldn't care less.

I don't know how feasible this would be, or if it would even be something that enough people might use to make it worth the time it might take to implement, but I would appreciate it.

Hello, and thank you for submitting a request to Gamingforce Corperation. Right now our coder is taking his weeks paid vacation so he won't be able to respond to your request. I can forward this to his mailbox in the meantime so he can view it when he comes back.

Thank you for using Gamingforce Services and we hope you have a happy holiday.

I could code this shit. Give me the files.

Miles Dec 22, 2006 06:07 PM

I'm sorry, sir. Access to that is restricted.

(Sure. When I get home from work you can help me with it. :3)

Well, I'm going to be out of town the next two days, but after that, I have a whole bunch of days off. Feel free to hand me the files at that time and I'll perform the necessary modifications.

Bigblah Dec 24, 2006 10:52 AM

I'll be back in 12 hours, so I'll do the modifications then.

Looks good, but why do the buttons disappear when you select "View All"? View All should just revert to the default behavior; I don't know why it's different.

Bigblah Dec 30, 2006 07:50 AM

Oh, forgot about that. "View all" is a separate template, I need to add those buttons to it.
