Help a picky bastard find a trackball

So I'm looking for a trackball to use with:

-A Power Mac G5 primarily used for video editing as well as general use (my main system)
-A Windows laptop used for a whole fucking slew of different purposes, NOT chief of which is gaming
-A test box that usually runs Linux that is also used for a whole slew of different purposes.

My only real requirements for the trackball are that it is comfortable to use (I'm right-handed, so the weird ergonomic ones aren't a problem as most are designed with righties in mind), has preferably more than the standard 2 buttons (flexibility is nice), and that it is NOT cordless, as I hate dealing with batteries.

I'm a fan of Logitech, and not really a fan of Kensington, but I'm willing to give the big K another go as I trust the advice of GFF more than my own limited experience with a less-than-comfortable Kensington mouse. This assumes, of course, that someone recommends a Kensington-branded device as being the uber-pwnage of pointing devices.

Money is no object as long as the trackball fits my criteria for what I'm seeking.

Of the systems I listed above, it'll probably see the most usage on the Mac, and I'll want to give it a whirl in Final Cut Pro to see how it fares for video tasks. I'm not necessarily looking for a dedicated video editing accessory, as I want to be able to use it for other things, but it's just something to consider.

I've checked Newegg, TigerDirect, and ZipZoomFly, and their selection is rather limited and more or less identical across the sites. Still, one of those featured on those sites may be exactly what I'm looking for and I don't really realize it.

So yeah...any advice? Thanks a ton. GFF FTW.
