Can't load a page, received a message with an "incorrect Message Authentication Code"

I'll be getting my grades for the semester this week, and the way my university wants its students to check their grades is by logging into STARS. (Click on "Launch STARS" on the right.)

Well, that's all fine and good, but every time the pop-up window comes up that should load the page with the forms to enter a student ID and PIN, I get this error.

ANYBODY with an Internet connection, student or not, should be able to load this page, because I've done it from several different non-campus Internet connections.

OK,
  • I don't live on campus, I have my own cable Internet connection.
  • It was working fine the last two semesters through a dorm connection.
  • It worked fine on my mom's dial-up connection.
  • I get this error with Firefox, but Internet Explorer won't load the page or give me an error.
  • I don't know who the administrator is, but I called STARS support. Apparently, I'm the only one in the entire university who's called about this problem.
  • The people working at STARS support don't know anything about it.
  • But blamed my Internet connection since it was working before I got my personal Internet connection here in this college town. (And I'm not going "home" for two years.)
  • I've messed around with my security settings in Firefox.
  • I've forwarded all of the ports in my router that STARS uses.
  • Google searches on this error message don't yield very many useful results.

I would really like to know what grades I got this semester and be able to pay off my bills next semester.

So, is anybody familiar with this error? Thanks in advance for any help anybody can give me!

Most probably it's an internet connection issue.

As a quick workaround, does it work if you use a dialup connection? Just to pay your bills and get your grades? :p
