Dramatic Fran (FFXII)

I found a nice picture of Fran from FFXII and I started tinkering with it. I think it came out pretty good, even though I didn't have a concrete idea of what I wanted it to look like. Maybe it's a bit empty on the right, and something intricate could fit well there, eh?

Anyway, here they are:

Original (I didn't draw this, though I wish I had the artist's skill):

Oh, anyone know how to take the grain off after you've put it on? I still have the PSD for both, but Grain doesn't show up in the history anymore. Thanks in advance.

I remember there is functionality in the version of the Photoshop that I was learning that allows you to go back all the way to the beginning. I think its always a good practice to make a duplication of the layer that you are working on before applying a filter though. I wonder how the filter functions in your version of the photoshop. (I dont' actually own photoshop however, but I did learn some when I was in school).

Oh, damn. I don't think I have a duplicate of that layer, so it looks like I'm stuck with it. Basically, I pick the filter and the settings and it goes on the layer I chose. It doesn't show up as a little F thing on the side like layer styles, that's why I ask if I could somehow reverse their effects.

Your drawing is nice, did it take you long to draw and colour that?

Yeah, I made that pretty clear. I have a question: Does anyone have the FFXII Logo with the Judge Magister and the streak of blood running down next to him? That would fill the empty space next to Fran well.

Oh, so sorry for mis-reading.
