Editing thread titles..?
 

Is this possible to just simply edit a thread title after posts have been made or is it a mod action only? Just curious.

Pretty sure it's a mod action only. You can ask a mod to change the title of your threads.

Feel free to PM a mod or two if you want the title to one of your threads changed. If we aren't busy which is more likely than not then we'll take a look at it.

If you edit your first post fast enough you can edit the title of it FYI.

Actually, if you go to edit the first post in any thread (as long as the first post is yours), go into Advanced mode, and you can change the thread title from there.

Ah, thats not a bad idea B_K... think I'll try it in the testing forum.

EDIT: I tried it, first using Poms method (which worked) and then B_K's method (which didn't) - any more than a minute and it won't work. Mod-Approval only it seems. Ah, It's not worth it. Made a kerfuffle over nothing, didn't I? :eagletear:

Like acer said, if you need a thread title edited, you can PM one of staff or contact them on AIM or IRC and ask. I along with many others are constantly changing titles or fixing spotted typos, so we won't bite for it.

Just check who's online at the moment and message away.

That reminds me... I've been asking one of you mods to change the Thread title of the Music Exposure Club Thread from GFF Music Exposure Club to Gamingforce Music Exposure Club™ for quite a while now.

Last I checked, the thread title actually DOES change, but only in that little itty bitty thing at the top of the first post. Essentially, you're editing the title of the post, not of the entire thread.

I did? I'm sorry. =( I've been a super busy fox lately and have trouble keeping up with everything sometimes.
