This is quite funny, and is certainly something that would be a memorable moment if you saw it at your university.

I also wonder if professor found this to be disruptive, or got the joke and just went along with it as well.

That is awesome. I would have loved to be there. I think its especially funny because its a physics class and he is going to defy physics. Nice!
