Thread titles in URLs
 

Is there any reason this feature is enabled? Like, I'm asking what advantages it has over the standard vbulletin thing of having a number for each thread. The reason I'm inquiring is because I'm on a network with a filtering system which feels the need to protect sixteen and seventeen-year-olds from looking at nasty porno or the like from their dorms.

Aside from the obvious profanities which are blocked, there are a load of things which have me scratching my head - I'm not allowed to look up anything with "huge", "hummer" or "ingame" in the URL, let alone stuff like "sexy". Not asking for a site-wide change here because that would fuck up a lot of links which have already been posted; more of a simple solution for me alone.

Also asking for this to be renamed so that the thread title says something like "H*ummer", because my plan of putting an accented U kind of backfired because I wasn't expecting how GFF would take it. :( sry

It's also nice because when someone links you to a random post you at least have a clue what you're going to get hit with (at least in chat it's nice).
